Revolution (Molting)

Ko indicates that (in the state which it describes) there will be great progress and success, dependent on being firm and correct. Occasion for repentance will disappear. The movement (which it indicates) should not be made (of its own accord). When the full time is come, it will be made, (as by the decree of Heaven). The first NINE, undivided, shows its subject (as if he were) bound with the skin of a yellow ox. The second SIX, divided, shows its subject making his change after the lapse of the appointed time. Some things he has done already. There will be good fortune. The third NINE, undivided, shows that the movement (forward) of its subject will be evil. The firm correctness (which he maintains) will be perilous. (The change he advocates) is not necessary to be brought to an issue now. He is told to have faith in the reality of the change, and to rest (contented with his lot). The fourth NINE, undivided, shows that occasion for repentance will disappear. He changed (his views) and there was good fortune. The fifth NINE, undivided, shows the great man changing (as required by the time). His movement (is like that of the tiger) when he makes himself conspicuous. (The change he makes) is seen in the people (all over the country). The topmost SIX, divided, shows the superior man changing (his views) and the inferior man following him. In any movement (which they make) there will be good fortune; and advantage in being firm and correct. The occasion for repentance will disappear.
