Zhui indicates that (under its conditions) there will be progress and success. The advantage will be found in firm correctness. The bringing together of the members (of the royal house) in the ancestral temple will suggest the rule for the discharge of the sacrificial duties. There will be advantage in seeing the great man, and success. Advantage will also be found in firm correctness. There must be the offering of a great sacrifice; and then there will be good fortune. Advantage will be found in every movement that shall be made.
The first SIX, divided, shows its subject troubled by the thought of his union (with others), and then resorting to an outcry (for help from them). If he then call out once and for all, he will get their assent. There will be no error.
The second SIX, divided, shows the subject of the line led forward (by the attraction of the nine in the fifth place). There will be good fortune, and freedom from error. There will be advantage in being sincerely faithful in the offerings of the vernal sacrifice and the autumn sacrifice.
The third SIX, divided, shows its subject looking on, and sighing over his (unhappy) attempts at union. There will be no advantage in any direction. If he go forward, there will be no error, but a little cause for repentance.
The fourth NINE, undivided, shows its subject in the greatest good fortune. There will be no error.
The fifth NINE, undivided, shows the union (of all the others) in the place of dignity. There will be no error. If any do not accumulate (around it), there will be peril.
The topmost SIX, divided, shows its subject sadly sighing and weeping. There will be no error. © 2026 I-Ching Divination. All rights reserved.
