Shih Ho intimates that (in the state of things which it symbols) there will be success and progress.
The first NINE, undivided, shows its subject with his feet in the stocks, and deprived of his toes. There will be no error.
The second SIX, divided, shows its subject with his feet in the stocks, and deprived of his beard. There will be evil.
The third SIX, divided, shows its subject being kept in the stocks, and suffering other injury. There will be peril, but no error.
The fourth NINE, undivided, shows its subject with flesh and bone in his mouth, and prevented from swallowing it. There will be good fortune. If he look for it, he will obtain the good fortune of being rightly apprehended (in his object).
The fifth SIX, divided, shows its subject with flesh in his mouth, and suffering from it. With firm correctness there will be good fortune.
